In honor of the fire fighters and EMS professionals who lost their lives on September 11th at the World Trade Center, HealthStream | EMInet will contribute two percent of its Emergency Medical Service sales, generated from September 11, 2001 to September 10, 2002, to two organizations: the New York Firefighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund and the National Association of EMTs EMS and Rescuer Relief Fund. The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians has established a foundation, the NAEMT EMS and Rescuer Relief Fund, to benefit the families of the EMS providers who lost their lives operating on the scene of the World Trade Center, following the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001. This fund is to provide financial support to the families of those individuals who were acting in a primary EMS role.
